One thing was made abundantly clear when I first talked to Adrienne + Chris: there would be dog wedding photos. And while these two opted for a more traditional human flower girl and ring bearer over entrusting the rings with the puppies, their The Madison wedding was still as creative and wonderful as hoped! Oh and another thing: don't check the forecast. No matter what, it never seems to be right. The forecast called for POURING rain all day. And pour it did - in the morning. By the time I started photographing the girls at The Madison and the guys got ready down the road at The Hotel ML, the skies has cleared and we had a beautiful day ahead of us. We headed to Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area for their first look, and Adrienne + Chris had such a beautiful moment together out by the docks on the creek. When it came time for photos, we worked our way back through the woods towards their family and friends, and went straight into the group photos, with the dogs of course. Their courtyard wedding was such a warm and welcoming one, AND UNPLUGGED (praise be.) Seriously people - tell your guests to put the phones and cameras down and be present for your ceremony. It's so much more gratifying. Their cocktail hour and reception was dressed up with the most adorable details planned by Adrienne herself, and the reception went off without a hitch!
