Bee's Knees Cocktail

2 ounces gin

1 tablespoon honey syrup

1.5 ounces fresh lemon juice

lemon twist for garnish

For the honey syrup, mix equal parts honey and warm water. Add the gin, honey syrup and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

 Our thoughts: The Bee's Knees has been around since the Prohibition era (roaring 20's theme anyone!?) and was originally crafted to make bathtub gin taste, well, less bathtubby. Trust us when we tell you it's way better with good gin. A bit of advice - this is a strong drink, so know your audience if you're considering it as a signature cocktail, and serve it up in a coupe glass for an extra touch of class. 🐝
