Watermelon Margarita

2 cups cubed seedless watermelon

1/2 cup ice + more for serving

2 ounces lime juice

4 ounces silver tequila 

salt or sugar for the rim

 lime for garnish

Blend the cubed watermelon and ice in a blender, then add it to a pitcher with the lime juice and tequila and stir. Rub a lime wedge around the edge of each glass, then dip in salt or sugar to coat the rim. Pour over ice into the prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.

 Our thoughts: Ok, so we're on a margarita kick. 'Tis the season, especially with all of this fresh fruit around. We recommend taste testing this watermelon margarita at bbqs since a huge watermelon almost always shows up to the party. It's quick and easy for a crowd and a great refresher on a warm day. Plus, the crowd can vote on its worthiness as your signature drink. 🍉
